From a young age, I set goals beyond those of my peers. I decided to pursue a BSc in Civil Engineering in my native country India, but in recognition of the limitation of programs in this field in my country, I decided to pursue my post-graduation diploma in the United Kingdom. The course was administered by the Heriot-Watt University of Edinburgh, where I had an immensely useful learning experience with world-class faculty due to the overall complexity and quality of the curriculum. My graduate coursework at Heriot-Watt University focused on construction management and various aspects. As a result, this post-graduation diploma in the UK gave me special skills which give a growth to my career, an idea of integrating both construction and business management inspired me to pursue the MBA degree at this point in my career. An established business set up by my father 20 years ago also provides me a good base to start m
y own business following my MBA graduation.
When it comes to world-class education UK has always set its standards very high and undoubtedly has one of the best research infrastructures in the world. Besides having amazingly engineered education policies, the country and its efficient system are very inviting to the globe. As a result of diverse settlers from all around the world, the country and its communities are unique, ever-changing, and accepting. A student looking for good education and exposure need not look further. Also given that all the people speak and understand English just makes things so much easier for students, as English is now a mandatory part of most curricula. With thousands of young graduates finding employment in the last decade gives me more hope for the quality of education I could find in the United Kingdom. The business being the field I wish to pursue would therefore be beneficial to me.
