Perseverance and determination are other key characteristics that is identified to be the qualities of a true hero. Perseverance is the persistence in doing something despite the difficulty or delay in achieving success, while determination is the quality of being determined to proceed with the task. Jesus was faced with several obstacles during his course to become Earths mightiest hero. For Jesus to continue to succeed he had to overcome physical death itself. However, his crucifixion did not restrain him from fulfilling his duties, as he was able to overcome this delay demonstrating his perseverance. Jesus was consistently mocked and abused by his haters and non-believers, however his strength and determination did not allow this to prevent him from demonstrating his full potential. As a result, Jesus can be viewed as a hero due to demonstrating qualities of perseverance and determination throughout his teachings.
