The Ideas in Your Analysis Post
You should post the following with your original analysis:
Your name
Learning Question
Two Claim Triangles, each includes:
Setting description
Interpretation of learning goal
Data
Theory
Claim
Big Idea
Creative Element
You are also responsible for replying to at least two other students’ analyses.
Summarize the big idea from the original analysis.
Summarize a related (new) theory from a reading/watching/listening
State the theorists’ name.
Summarize in one sentence their big idea.
State how this big idea relates to data in the original analysis.
State how this other theory adds perspective to the original analysis.
Before you even start on your final project, through your weekly HW and LC tasks you will have completed everything except the last task.
Please note, you should only use the following theory from what we’ve read/listened/watched this term:
Readings: Rogoff, Annamma, Baines, Ramsey, Vygotsky, Bang
Watchings: Boroditsky, Tanner, Nasir, Rogoff
Listenings: Clever Apes (Bang), Invisibilia, NPR Chores (Rogoff)
The rubric is included on this page. The rubric grades this out of 100 points. The assignment however is worth 20 points. Consider the rubric the percentage score, while the 20 points is what it contributes to your total score. For example, if you earn 80% on the rubric, you contribute 16 points to your final grade.

There are two claim triangles. Each claim is connected to evidence from the data and theory that interprets the evidence. In 60 seconds or less the individual described both claim triangle of claim, data, theory.

When the individual presented their claim triangles, the names of theories were stated, there was a summary in the analysts’ own words about that idea, and there was a statement about why the idea was appropriate to interpret the data.
5 pts
Developing
Some piece of the connection to theory was missing. For instance, the analysts did not include a summary in their own words to describe the idea, or the analysts did not justify why the theory was appropriate for interpreting the data.
